It turns out the lack of security made the burglar's job easy. Same night - different place: A non-authorised member of staff at transport company XYZ gains unhindered access to warehouse. For the third time this month, he steals high-value goods unnoticed. An access control system, which would have prevented this, has not been installed.


Examples like these demonstrate the importance of well-conceived security – especially for shops, store chains and logistics companies. Of these, most companies are aware but do not learn until it is too late. Something must happen first before thoughts turn to security.
